2015 Chevy Camaro Stabilitrac Issue
I have looked everywhere and can’t find an answer to this problem so here goes …
I recently got Kooks Longtubes (OEM Cats) put on and also got it tuned. I also replaced the spark plugs and the wires while at it. The car only has a CAI and is straight pipe prior to this. Long story short .. picked the car up from the shop .. went on the highway gave it some gas and boom CEL came on along with service stabilitrac. I went back to the shop the same day and the tuner cleared the codes and asked me if the lights come on when I disable traction .. which I did and everything was fine .. until I again gave it some gas and the CEL came on and this time engine power reduced as well. I went back to the tuner and he did the same thing again and I somehow got it home.
Over the couple few days .. the CEL would always be there when I turned the car on but no stabilitrac issues until I really push the car. I have to then either let off the gas or gently give it gas until the light goes away on its own and then disable TC again and it’s back to normal. If I don’t do the above the engine loses power and I have to turn the car off and wait 5-10 mins and turn it on again for that to go away.
I took it to the tuner again yesterday and apparently he spent 6 hours working on it and told me it was fine ready to go … until I picked it up and gave it some gas and boom .. the same **** all over again.
I called the owner today and he’s telling me it might be because of having no back pressure ? They told me they reprogrammed the YAW sensor and checked the spark plug wires / plugs so that’s ruled out. Could it be the battery ? I’m so confused. If I don’t push it too much and just drive normal the stabilitrac never comes on but the moment I am about to do a pull then around 3-4th gear the light comes on and I have to slow down and wait for the lights to go away.
Any insight on this would be really appreciated.

The issue has been fixed now. Cylinder no. 7 was misfiring and it was all due to a bad spark plug. I am assuming the shop (while putting in the Headers) probably hairline damaged the spark plug and that’s why it was misfiring and the car was going crazy. It’s a simple fix. The car runs like a charm now.
