Default 81 Camaro Z28 350 no power (cam?)

Hi. I recently purchased a 81 Camaro z28 350 auto. I know these motors are famous for rounding the camshaft, it does have lifter noise on one bank and pops when given throttle, no power, all the spark plugs looked good when pulled except one that was black ( same side as lifter noise) dont want to replace cam if not needed. Any advice appreciated. Doug

OK I pulled the pass side valve cover and found the loose rocker ( #2 cyl exhaust valve) almost no movement when cranking over, pushrod not bent, is it possible for just one lobe to round on the cam?

This rocker is hardly moving, backed the nut off and held the end of the pushrod with my finger while turning over, very slight up and down movement, definitely cam rounded. going to put in a new one. Any suggestions? This car is completly stock except for dual exhaust so want a mild cam. Stock specs say lift .390/.410 duration 310/320.
