Question After Market Radio Installation

Good Evening to all. Okay here is my situation. I have a 96 Camaro. It has the standard Delco radio with Bose system. It only has the cassette, no cd player. If I read the book right it doesn't have the anti-theft. I bought a Kenwood and hooked everything up. All the wires are correctly hooked up and NO bare wires exposed. Everything works but no sound. I bought the radio at Best Buy. Went back to them to ask why no sound and all they could talk about is we know what is wrong and we will tell you if you pay us. $40 1st 30 minutes and $20 for every 15 minutes after that. I, of course, told them to stuff it. They said that these cars came with a factory installed amp. I can't find it or prove or disprove their statement. So this is why I am here. I just know someone has run across this and has the knowledge I need to get it to work. So please pass me your great vast expanse of knowledge onto me. Thank you very much for reading this and assisting me.

DON'T BOTHER ANSWERING THIS POST. I HAD TO GO ELSEWHERE TO GET THE ANSWER. BUNCH OF DUMB ASSES.
