Hey everyone I have changed out many ignition tumblers in my day but never messed with one with an airbag can someone tell me what steps to take to change it out my son lost the key to his car so i would appreciate any help

Well the air bag part is easy. Just disconnect the battery and take out the screws on the back of the steering wheel and it comes right out. Now you need a steering wheel pulled and a compressor for the spring inside. The hard part will be getting the cylinder out without a key. Maybe someone else knows a way around that.
