Ran across a new ss camaro this A.M. followed him around for a few minutes to get a good look. I gained a lot of respect for this car, untill I rolled down the window to hear the exhaust rumble. NOTHING! Quiet as a church mouse. Surley there is some option to make this car sound like it has a pair. It does LOOK the part.

GM offers a performance exhaust upgrade as a dealer option thankfully.

 

Just looked at thier website, showed two differerent systems, one for $950.00 and one for $995.00. no info other than it improved look and sound of exhaust, with performance enhancements.
The SS I saw was the yellow and black transformers spcl.
Anybody seen a sight that compared it to a stock vette?

 

I have not seen a site with a side-by-side comparison posted, but I'm sure you can do a side-by-side stat comparison on www.edmunds.com or some other site like that.

 

I passed a new one going the opposite direction, we were both going 25 and I thought it sounded pretty deep and tough.. for what I assumed was factory?..
