Hello I need a little help I have a 78 carprice that will run if you put gas in the carb and will stay running after you do it a couple of times ....but than you have to do it all over again the next day I have put a new fuel pump in not to long ago and also has a new carb on it

 

Is it a mechanical fuel pump? Doe's this happen all the time, gas level in tank, full, half?

With help, pull fuel line from carb, hold it into a catch jar, have your partner crank, you getting fuel when it cranks? That is for a mechanical pump.
