Default 1979 Caprice 2door what is it worth

I hope I am not breaking any Forum rules. I received a 2 door caprice Landau from my grandmother when she passed about 4 years ago. I am a classic chevy guy, but not this style. It has been garage kept since 1979. Little/no rust. Red/Red factory a/c All original and complete. It ran and drove perfectly 4 years ago. (I know this is key in price). One door could use a repaint to color match a little better. Never been in a wreck. Seats are good back a little faded up top were the sun has hit it. Headliner is 98% up with a couple of bubbles. No power windows/locks. Original Hubcaps etc, etc. I just have no idea about the value on these things. I want it to go to someone who likes this body style and not to someone who wants a demolition derby car. So pricing it right is key. Mileage is probably about 96000.

I love that style, with the notched rear window, what kind of motor does it have? and option listing is good too, really depends on frame state and condition, but if it's solid they can be sold for a bit

Default 1979

The frame itself is good. Probably could use bushings, shocks etc. But good frame. It has a 350 4 barrel carb (could use a rebuild kit) that could probably use a gasket kit, normal leaks from a 1979 orginal car. Has a/c, power steering, but no power windows or locks. I am thinking its about a 3,000 dollar car to the right person but again I have no idea what to value it. Its a nice car just doesn't seem to be a big market for them.

Only because of gas prices, real shame, yet people drive big suvs when boats like these are so much nicer. Well if you clean her up real well, the vinyl top isn't cracked, take good photos, you might get around 3g. GLWS
