1988 caprice engine swap
I'm sure this questions has been asked before, right now im my car is a 4.3l and its starting to knock and i am looking into swaping the engine to a 305 or 350 what all has to be changed as in the trans computer stuff like that thanks

It is a pretty straight forward swap the wiring is basically the same hook up.The ECM
E-prom and memcal in the computer will need to be changed and match the application ie.. A/C
trans,etc. or swap the whole ECM
If I recall the engine motor mounts as well as the rad shroud,rad,the clutch fan that pretty much it.You may have to move the knock sensor to the other bank.I might have left out some minor things as I haven't done one in a while.
