I have a 95 Caprice with the LT1, 5.7L, i noticed engine been running hot, I replaced the temp sensor on front of block about a year ago, just recently replaced the thermostat, replaced fuses when I had my fans hooked up from gm dealer (cause when i bought the car they were'nt connected), car acts like its overheating when either stopped too long or in park untill secondary fan kicks on, I noticed primary fan does not come on at all......where do start to fix this problem for the fan?

 

I also forgot to mention i did do a flush when i replaced thermo, it does run cooler now when driving, just stopped and park it heats up into red until second fan kicks on....anyone with answers please

 

Im having the same problem did. Every thing u did except the rad flush when the temp needle gets hot it drives slugish. But does not overheat its annoying !!
