i got an 88 caprice classic brouham and i took trip to ohio and check engine light on came on and would sputter .wouldnt start up for long time while sittin on side of road then started out of nowhere when i made it to ohio i had replaced wires plugs igntion moduleand drove fine then stopped in indiana on me made it here checked code came out to be mc solenoid but ran good for 4 months then stopped on me one night .i replaced fuel pump,distrubtor,coil,carb,and computer cause book said when mc solenoid go out it can short to computer.and fuel filter and car still wont start
