My Captiva is having more and more frequent issues with the key getting stuck in the ignition. I know if I leave it in, while stuck in the ACC mode it will drain my battery. I have read where others are having the same intermittent issues and are having to jump the vehicle when they leave the key in the ignition. Does anyone know if there has been a recall for this? My vehicle only has 67,000 miles or so on it. This is not the first issue I’ve had with this vehicle, but it is getting frustrating not being able to trust my car. I am worried about getting stuck somewhere when I travel. Other than taking out the screws at the steering column to release the key, what has been the best option for helping fix this?
