2014 Chevy Captiva coolant leak
We have a 2014 Chevy caprice sport and have been dealing with a coolant leak. We have checked all the hoses and there’s no rips or holes. No cracks in the reservoir. Just replaced the water pump. Going through bottles of coolant like crazy. In AZ so temperature is getting very high already and have had the car overheat twice. Any suggestions?
man oil change was just done on the car about 3 weeks ago. Didn’t look like there was any coolant leaking into the oil. No clear liquid came out
either get yourself a radiator pressure tester or take it to your mechanic. It’s a piece of equipment you screw onto your radiator reservoir and pump pressure into the cooling system. If you have a cracked hose or leaking radiator you should be able to see it. Also keep an eye on your heater core. Hope this helps.
