Bad acceleration
So I got a 2013 chevy captiva from a used auto dealer and it was an emergency since my last car was about to not run anymore. This was the only vehicle they could find me within my budget. I loved it at first but then started 3 weeks after getting it my key would get stuck then my electrical would go out and the only way to fix it most of time was scooting driver seat back then it would all work? After a while that didnt even work so I got stuck at 3 diff places 3 diff times and someone had to help me and all they did was jiggle some wires to my battery and bam it started right up? So I figured ok looks cable terminals. So I had them tightened, it worked for a while but now my acceleration is going bad and a screw driver sign with a P pops up? I guess it's like check engine light sort of? I'm about to take to the shop yet again to see if they can tell me what it is. It sucks I love my car but if it's not running right , what's the point of making payments for a car not working properly? Anyone had this issue or know what it could be? Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the issues that you have been having. I also have a 2015 Captiva, and I am in a similar situation. I currently owe more than the car is worth, so I am stuck with what I have. The only thing I can think of, is have your battery checked at any auto-parts store. My battery failed, and dropped an entire cell, even though the battery was only 1 year old. The issue I had was a bit more extreme, no electrical, and the key would get stuck in the ignition. However, I replaced the battery that same day, and didn't try wiggling any wires.
If you are still within the 30 or 60 day period since you bought the car, take it back to the dealer asap. That was my mistake, I thought I could fix everything myself. If possible, make them fix it, or claim that you want them to take the car back.
