Heater stopped working
Hi All,
I have a 2014 Captiva sport. The heat stopped blowing hot air. I checked the heater hoses in back of the engine, both are hot. coolant level is great etc etc. I read around and changed the blend door actuator and mode door actuator and still no heat. When i was doing the blend door i manually turned the door and had heat so I know the heater core is not blocked. I have checked all the fuses and pulled the XM/HVAC fuse for a night, pulled the battery cable for a night etc etc. but still no heat. I have read that sometimes the new actuators need to be recognized by a scanner thru chevy? is this true or am I missing a common problem somewhere?
Thanks, and be safe...

I took it in to a little shop down the street. Found codes:
B0228 -Recirculation Position #1
B3779 - Air flow dual zone feedback
B0423 - Right Temp control feedback
Cleared all codes and recalibrated actuators. Heat is working great now and in all zones.
