Default 04 Cavalier Brake System help

I have 2.2 Cav. I live in Georgia and paid 1100 for the car was able to talk the couple down a grand it had 106000 miles on the dash and test drive was perfect so I knew the car was to good to be true was told it was from the north so I knew it was gonna be a rust bucket underneath and upon buying couldn’t check it out cause I forgot to bring my jack... well 10000 miles later upon dropping my wife and kids off come to a “stop“ and hear a funny noise did a California roll through and upon reaching my destination press down the brake pedal to turn and my foot hit the floor poof they gone fnf Tokyo drifted into my destination and came rolling to a stop 🙏🏻 It was just me. Well that was 2 years ago and today all 4 brake line have been replaced but the part the lines connect into are my issue so for starters what is this part called cause internet says one thing auto parts store call it another. And I’m not talking about my brake booster or my brake reservoir. On another note what size lines are connected from my reservoir to said part. I plan on bypassing said part and use brass tee union to connect my lines to the reservoir. Taking away my abs. Is this a smart move? Or keep trying to find said part in junk yards and not destroy threads? Cause I guess when I try removing the lines I always end up taking the thread with it probably cause the factory uses some kinda locetite and it just ain’t working for me. Sorry for the encyclopedia above wanted to be as thorough as can be and thanks for the help!

Default Forget to mention

Not a mechanic or apprentice to a mechanic by any means thought about it but after this headache it’s not the path for me but most shops around here over charge cause of the area. I don’t got it like that being 22 with 2 kids under 3 is rough so if I can take it off I’ll definitely be the one trying to put it back on.
