When I first start out driving. The front drivers side brake locks up severely, even with a light touch. If I let car run about twenty minutes it is not locking but grabs hard until first couple stop signs, about half mile.

 

Have the brake lines been bled? if yes and it still locks, I would suspect a bad caliper...

 

I agree. maybe the other brakes that are not locking up aren't doing anything forcing the one brake to do all the work.


or maybe you have contaminated brake linings any calipers or wheel cylinders leaking?

 

Do the calipers pins move freely and are properly lubed?

And I think the other guys mentioned the houses. Look for soft spots and swelling.
