Hello everyone, I have recently had a weird problem. My car sat for about 4 hours I went to go start it and it acted like the throttle was pegged. So far I checked the cable and pedal it had full range of movement and nothing is holding the cable or pedal open. The intake butterfly is fully closed and it still high idols at about 3000 rpm. I had to drive it home and it did 55 all the way I didn't need to throttle it at all. I had the tps unplugged and it still drove and idoled itself. No codes when it's on a high idol I can't hear air leaking anywhere or a vacuum sound from the intake manifold. Any suggestions or ideas? There was a code for the tap when it was unplugged but when I plugged it back in it went away I was able to clear it.
