2004 VLX

Recently, the driver window stops midway up. If I open and slam the door shut it'll go up a bit and stop. If I wait 20 minutes or more it works OK or so it seems.

Anyone have this issue? Or have a clue what's happening ?(the optimal word is "clue")

sounds like the gearing on the window motor is bad. Replace the motor. I got one from Oreileys auto parts for around $45, they had it on the shelf.

 

On my 2002 rr window it was a broken solder joint in the motor. PITB but cheap fix.
