Factory CD/AM/FM Unit won't shut off

Factory CD/AM/FM Unit won't shut off
Our 2004 Cavalier Factory CD/Radio Unit stopped automatically shutting off when you turn off/removethe key andexit the car. Now, even if you manually turn it off, the Clock Stays on at full brightness. Any ideas as to the problem?
