it wont start

well i have a 1974 el camino with a 2bbl. and i just changed the points and condenser. now when i try to start it it turns over but it spits fuel through the carb and wont fire up what should i do?

did you gap the points? save yourself some trouble and upgrade to an hei- much more reliable and better
