Public service notice the owner of this company Anthony Tomaio is not trustworthy. He sold me a 58 Chevy truck build project, strung me along for 3 years then called and said he was out of business, no truck, no deposit refund. My fault for stupidly giving him money on the front end, fully accept that responsibility. But I am looking for other buyers who were defrauded to get more information and potentially split the lawyer fees for a lawsuit holding him personally liable.

Other people had this same scam run on them and lost over $30,000 each. Here's how the scam is being run: You want a custom truck built per your specific specs. You are emailed a confirmation of your contract that states:Here is our address and your bill of sale . Congratulations you’re gonna love your truck! I’ll call you in a bit . You are then given excuses about time delays, short staff, etc. You go along with it. You are out thousands of dollars and have nothing but grief and an empty bank account to show for it.

Please do not fall for this scam. Please report this person. They are commiting fraud and theft.

 

if you use eBay's purchasing system, you are protected against fraud. If you circumvent it then you're on your own.

 

At first, he tried to run a legit business, he just wansnt very good at it. I bought a truck from him in 2015 but it took 2 years and two trips to Henderson NV to get it done. I did get everything I paid for but over the years, I've had to correct/replace much of the work he had done. After all the work I corrected or replaced, it's probably worth what I initially paid for it The truck arrived with a "rebuilt" 700-R4 tranny that wouldnt shift. To his credit, he ended up paying $2600 for me to have it actually rebuilt locally..
Good side of this whole experience is I know this truck down to every bolt by now. I only hope he didnt rip off too many folks until his luck ran out.
