cant tighten oil drain plug on my 235 6 cyl. on my 49 truck. looking to ad petcock or something easier to change oil? cant stop from leaking

If it's not stripped, but the threads are worn, used to make an oversize plug for just such problems. I don't know about yours, but measure it with thread pitch see if you can fine one is the best advice I can give.
