Default Need help with sway bar bushing bolt

Hi all,

New to this site
I got a pair of new bolts from dealer today. However I am very confused about the black plastic ring over the bolt.

Should I screw the bolt in with that piece of plastic on? I found it impossible to push the ring through the bracket hole...

Thanks for any input

I would say that since the old one didn't have it, you don't need it. I did notice that the new bolt is longer than the old one. Will this still fit and tighten up? Also, why did you need new bolts?

Old bolts comes without the plastic ring, but the bracket moves b/c the old bolts are way to small to hold the bracket... I am wondering if the plastic thing is a part of the bolt to keep the bracket from moving back and forth...

I want a new set of bolts b/c the sway bar noise has been there forever, even with new bushings... I worked on the bolts too many times and its kind of rounded off...
