Hi, I have been searching for a simple key fob programming tool. I cant seem to find an inexpensive one. Found one on Amazon that stated specific for 2008 Cobalt but it arrived and is not compatible with the Cobalt remote or Cobalts.

I have the auto start remote GM # 22733524

I have a older Craftsman scan tool that is older then the 2008 Cobalt and it does not have a programming function.

I have 4 key GM fobs to program. I tried many of the shortcuts I found online.

Any help would be appreciated If I have to buy a new full function scan tool I want to make sure I get a decent one.

auto enginutity laptop based scan tool will do it and much more. jhe best laptop based system out there and its expandable if you buy another brand. $350 for gm package.
