Default Theft Deterrent System on 2006 Cobalt

MY theft-deterrent system was activated and now won't turn off. I don't have my keyless remote so I just use my manual key. How can I de-activate the anti-deterreny system without a keyless remote? Please help!

I don't know. My Mazda will activiate/deactivate with the key. Try turning the keyswitch on, let set for a minute, then off, then try to start.

You can disarm the system by doing any one of the following:

- Press the remote keyless entry transmitter unlock button.

- Turn the ignition on.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me privately.
