Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Turn Signal not resetting

After making a left turn the turn signal wand does not reset. Anyone have a link or some info on removing the steering wheel and repairing?

thanks

Any chance of finding a service manual for the 07 cobalt?

Welcome to the forum,
My daughter had this issue on her 09 cobalt, i was able to remove the indicator lever and open up the control box and re-bend the spring and lube the mechanism. It has worked fine since.
For manuals check Ebay, and there is always DIY Alldata.

I can provide a couple of pics I took while working on my daughters, don't know if they will help but I can post if you are still interested.

Turn Signal Canceling Failure Fix: Lots of Pics - Chevy HHR Network

Here is a link to the fix on an HHR. The cobalt is the same setup. It is a common problem. I had mine fixed while still under warranty. Hope this helps!
