I understand what you are saying and realize that the battery will be drained if one doesn't disconnect the battery from the system. Just trying to find out from GMC/Chevy if I can install a battery maintainer from coach to car? It's like pulling teeth trying to get an answer from them. Maybe there's a reason for not doing that and if I did would void my warranty.

 

why install a battery maintainer when you have a regulated 12v charging source available right at the trailer plug in? That is why they put it there. ???
