Tiny red light
I just bought a 2008 Chevy Colorado pick-up, and have a question that I didn't find in the manual. On the "Radio with CD (MP3/WMA)" panel on the dashboard, there is a very small red light that blinks "on" every few seconds whether there is someone in the cab or not, whether the truck is running or not. What does this mean? Is there a way to turn it off?
Also, if the truck is left unattended for few days, the battery gets very low and the truck is hard to start. I do not know if these things are related, but I would appreciate an answer to the question, "What does this mean?" regarding the little red light, whether its related to the battery or not.
Also, I just spent about an hour on Chevy's "Customer Support" website trying to get an answer to "what does this mean", and all they would tell me is to "go to a dealership". I DID tell them that I am 76 years old, living on social security, and that I would have bought a new truck if I could afford a dealership transaction!!
