In this months Motor trend they mention that Chevy will produce a 600 plus horsepower corvette ss/stingray. If it turns out anything like the picture then it will be the first corvette to need a spoiler for extra down force(however the spoiler is small thankfully).

not really impressive on the looks

 

The point of the package is to be faster than the Ford GT, ferrari 599 GTB. While still being affordable so they couldn't spend to much money on looks. They spent most of it on performance. The car is expected to wiegh under 3,000 pounds
