Its unfortunate. It seems not many people are happy with them. We almost bought one. But my wife decided she likes the mazda 3 more. So apparently i am lucky we got the mazda.

Buy a lottery ticket-you are lucky! What a joke-the "learning transmission"-my car has over 9000 km on it,and it still hasn't learned to shift without jerking! Every month this car develops a new problem-and I would have to take a $10,000 loss to get rid of it- trade-in values low "because it's a problem car." No kidding.

suprised you have problems with the auto transmission, best feature was the auto on the Cruze/ Lacetti I had, it is very good indeed. In fact my New Kia Ceed 1.6 auto diesel has what appears to be the same six speed box works in identical manner. However the new Kia Ceed (7 year warranty)leaves the Cruze for dead although I am annoyed that it does not yet have TPMS (nor did the Cruze) which becomes mandatory in the UK after November. Still the best instruments on a car I have owned was on the early Dodge Calibers although ride, vision & handling not too good but instrumentation excellent.

The 2011 automatic trans. are bad-mine shifts like a sixteen year old learning to drive a manual trans.! After 9000+ km-no improvement. Better in 2012 cars-gee,GM-what exactly did you test in the millions of miles of testing that you talk about?

The one we drove was a 2011 auto. Had 22,000 miles on it. Not sure what that is in kilometers.
I would like to know what they tested. All the auto makers. They claim thousands and thousands of miles of testing. Like ford. How do you test the new escapes so good then when you release them you have to recall them because they are all of a sudden prone to engine fires. And the Cruze. Guess the tranny was fine during testing.

I checked out resale value-50% depreciation instead of usual 25% "because it's a problem car." That was online & local dealers. Can't afford to take a $10,000+ loss.Just noticed in last night's paper the number of them for sale-low kms,low prices. Speaks volumes.Edsel, anyone??

My 2.0 vcdi auto cost £14500 with 3 years Free Service, After 2& half years 20,000 miles I got £7K from a Trader, too difficult to sell privately. Should not be suprised to see them taken off UK market, latest models still without essential features No DRL, No TPMS, No powered foldback door mirrors, No auto Lock, No Watts Z link suspension, No space saver spare, What a rip-off.

To arleighlocksmith who sends messages-this car is a POS. Will never buy GM again...really good way to "improve customer loyalty"-new GM plan. Toyota is outselling GM in Canada on half ton trucks-I expect cars will soon follow. Oh yes-latest-clock,temperature & time work only sporadically. Can hardly wait for what's next-wish it had gone up in smoke!
