Alright there's a lot of figuring out still left for me to do im not sure what to do with my 97 cavalier 4 cylinder? it's got 40,000 miles on it, im tired of the computer shutting it off at 115mph i want to go 160 or 170 with it and im trying what's more worth it i know with turbocharging it you can put that kind of power out but it's more strain and with all the upgrading and other bs it's about 5,000-6,000 but i get to keep most of it all bolt up, but would it be the same price with buying a v6 and transmission and all the other **** i would need for making the conversion i don't think the transmission would ever bolt up or handle the power but im thinking it would be about the same in cost 5,000-6,000? can i get some pro advice im just not sure what to do?

nothing on a cavelier engine (pre ecotec) will stand up to any kind of horsepower gains, they are very weak and should be treated as so lol, its funny, but no joke
if you are serious about it, rebuild the engine and trans to stand up to the punishment, or buy an ecotec driveline out of an 02-05 cavalier with the ecotec engine, these are built a lot stronger
