I have been searching for info on cam options for a 04 2500HD with the LQ4 and have got tons of different answers. What I want is a cam that will provide me with a nice choppy idle and quick throttle response. I currently have a K&N filter and a Diablo hand held tuner. My Exhaust manifold bolt are broke(one on each side) so I will be removing the stock exhaust manifolds and installing a set of headers to replace them. Lastly I will be replacing the stock muffler with a flowmaster cat back system because I love the sound of flowmasters. If someone could give me an idea of a good cam I would appreciate it greatly. By the way, the truck is my daily driver. Thanks for everyones help.
