How much hassle will it be to swap the 3.8 from a 2005 impala to my 2006 Equinox?

 

not very easy considering the Equinox never came with a 3.8 I'd say.

 

ya on closer inspection they mount different, intake plenum is backward. I know the 3.8 would add a little performance but looks like a big problem. But on that note my 06 hhr was 4 cylinder front wheel drive but now boasts a 400 rwd.lol if I build it it will go!
