08 Equinox Idle/Surge Issues
Have a 08 Equinox that is idling rough. The rpms will be around 800 drop to anywhere from 200 to 400. Then surge.
I have been addressing computer errors as they arise. Replaced MAP sensor, MAF sensor, EGR valve and tube, vapor purge canister, O2 sensor, the negative battery terminal that was loose, on top of numerous shop repairs. Nothing has made it better or worse.
I did take a halo box to monitor the voltage on the battery. When not running the battery is at 12.6. When running it starts around 14.6. Then when the rpms drop the battery drops to just below 13 and gores back up to 14.6 when the rpms surge. So I can’t help but think it’s an electrical issue. Any suggestions???

So one of the causes could be the Evap which I haven’t fully replaced. Can anyone tell me how to properly remove these vacuum lines. I’m going to pull a part for replacements. And is the second picture the actual canister?
