Hi Guys! I bought a used '08 Equinox back in the Spring. Just yesterday, I found the PCV line wasn't connected on the PCV side, it's connected to the throttle body tube only. The connector for the PCV side is broken and I don't see anything that it would connect to. There is virtually no info about it on the internet. The vehicle runs fine and the Check Engine Light isn't on, and no codes. (???) I was able to find the line that is broken to buy, on the internet, but there's no info about the location of the PCV valve. The only thing I could see in that area is a hole about 1/2" in diameter, but I don't know if it has anything to do with the PCV. Again, the vehicle runs fine, should I even care about it??? Any info or input would be appreciated!! Throttle body tube connection. Broken connector on PCV side, towards drivers side.
Just to update... It turns out that the line with the broken connector is just a vacuum line. The PVC valve is installed INSIDE the front valve cover. I didn't see a way to delete the question, so there's your update. I hope my info helps someone!!
