Default PCV valve location

Hi all

I am not getting the right answer with google or the search function. Even in my service manual I don't find the right answer...

Can anybody confirm that the PCV valve in my 3500 Express is located inside of the valve cover as shown on the picture?

THX for helping me.

Thanks, but I have this already. But as I said, I am not sure where the valve is placed...
I have the original tube, the valve...
But the cap doesn't fit.

And the question is, if its it possible that the valve sits inside the cap?

There is no PCV valve. This engine uses a fixed orifice located in the rear of the left valve cover. It is incorporated into the vale cover and is not removeable.

Do you have any illustrations?
It is a long time ago I have build all together and I can't remember...

Why I am doing this...
After I hav rebuild the engine I have a P0101, P0300.
MAF Sensor is new, all connections checked. I read that a bad PCV could be a problem...

You should have started your question with this fact.

Follow the "Diagnostic Steps & Possible Solutions" on this page:
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0101

Your symptoms are indicative of a vacuum leak

I have made a leak down test. No leaks so far...
Checkt the MAP sensor, all good. Also reading is ok.
Same with MAF sensor. Wires are ok.

Today I rode abou 60mls without mil.
Parked the Van, jumped in and after a 1ml check engine comes again with p0300.
Freeze Frame:
Any Ideas?

Bank 1 is too lean.
Again, this would confirm the vacuum leak hypothesis. Probably in the Bank1 intake manifold gasket. Not uncommon on these Vortec engines.
