Starting in the last couple of days my tailgate opens of its own accord. Yesterday morning it was just open. After closing it reopened within five minutes. So far it has not opened when locked. Any ideas? Thanks.

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue with your Equinox vehicle. This issue may be due to an issue with the exterior release switch. This is just a suggestion and is not meant as a diagnosis.
