Hello, I have a 2012 Equinox LT I purchased and the radio says Locked. I don't believe it's a code issue because I can't get to a screen that allows me to enter a code. I tried disconnecting the battery and removing the fuse (and putting the fuse back) with no luck. The dealer says they can't fix the radio either. The backup camera works. There are only two connections on the back. Has anyone worked with this model before - GM Part Number 22807201? Thank you in advance.

These newer radios don't use PINs or unlock codes like older radios. That's why there's nowhere to enter one. It looks like this radio just needs to be programmed with the correct VIN. Every time you turn the radio on it compares the VIN it has learned to the VIN of other modules on the network such as the BCM. If the VIN doesn't match it shows the locked screen you're seeing The dealership simply needs to program the radio with the correct VIN. It should work fine after they do that.
