A few weeks ago I leave to go somewhere and I got the blue screen when in reverse and it says “service rear vision system“ .. a few days later it randomly came back on when in reverse but it was choppy, and shaky. By the time I got home it was blue screen again

I’ve unplugged the battery, checked the fuse, and even took out the little compartment above the license plate to inspect the camera, unplugged the camera, plugged back in, and still an issue!

Any suggestions? I appreciate it

 

Sometimes trouble isolation can require more than visual inspection or disconnecting / reconnecting items. If you have reached the limit of what you have the tools / information to accomplish, resist the urge to fire the parts cannon and have a paid diagnoses done to determine the fault. From there you can decide if you are equipped to tackle a repair.
