2020 Equinox new to me. I am wondering if a full size tire will fit where the donut spare is?

 

As a general rule, no. My 2015 Chevy Malibu didn't come with a spare tire, but I installed a small donut tire. No way the stock tire would fit down deep. Make sure that your tire has some sort of lug or way to hold it down. Lots of people get killed in accidents by heavy objects in the back of the car, often things like tires.

 

I will find out when I rotate tires in about 2000 miles.

Full size tire won't fit . It might be possible after some serious modification to some plastic to make the hole bigger.
