Default Help please P2090 Equinox 2013

THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED

2.4L Ecotec—The code states Camshaft Circuit low position Sensor B. I do not know where the camshaft position Sensor B is located. Can someone please help me locate this and is it the exhaust position sensor or the intake. Engine runs fine no issues detectable but have CEL and this code. Don’t think I should ignore.

Much Thanks

Thanks very much, is it the exhaust or intake position sensor identified in the DTC? In the video, there is no distinction made as to which sensor is being changed. Just want to be certain I identify and change the correct sensor

Thanks so much!

Those two items were VVT sensors, not the camshaft sensor, which is what the YouTube video shows being changed.

yes I realize that but the question is where is the B exhaust sensor located. The video shows the intake sensor being replaced. Again, somewhere on the other side of the engine seem obvious but where exactly and does access require a lift all of which are the reasons the location is critical as whether it’s possible for me to change this one. Thanks again
