I have an 08 Equinox and lately the key has been on and off hard to turn. Just today, the key was hard to turn, I juggled the steering wheel and got it to turn, then I could not remove the key from ignition. It took a while but the key finally loosened out. I will be taking it in, but I wanted to know, has anyone elsehad this issue?

 

I have an 06 Equinox and have been having a very difficult time turning the key, also. Juggling the steering wheel seemed to help, key has been stuck before then was released, and now I am having rarer success with jiggling the steering wheel. Did you receive an answer or discover from your mechanic what exactly caused this? So appreciate your response.
