in my 2005 eqinox ive replaced battery and starter hut when i turn key i get one click then nothing

 

Was this the reason to replace battery, and starter? What you describe sounds like loose battery and or battery connections at starter.

 

+1 for bad connections.
other possibility: can you turn the engine over by hand? put a socket on the crank pulley bolt and turn the engine over using a breaker bar. if you can't hand turn it....check the oil level. if its off the stick...the engine is fubared.
