Default 4l60e oil pan removal

Hi! I wanted to change the fluid and filter in a 95 g20 today but i cant get the oil pan off of it. It gets stuck between the crossmember in the rear and exhaust crossover in the front. There is no way to wiggle it out.

Is there a preferred way to do it or will i have to unbolt the exhaust pipe from the manifolds? I would like to avoid that if possible.

It seems like if i could remove the tc cover i would get enough room to manipulate the pan out, but the cover is stuck on the starter and wont come off

My Haynes manual says that on some 93 and later models you may have to remove the rear crossmember to gain access to the oil pan.
You have to use a jack and jackstands to support the rear of the tranny to do it.
