After buying a 2009 express 1500 4.3 ltr, I came across a GPS device, I wanted to remove it cuz the piece on the window was broken and hanging. So after disconnecting the power to it I removed it, but this happened. One night I grounded out the power wire that feeds the driver side auxiliary power plug for charging your phone and right away the theft deterent icon shows up on the dash, and discovered that the O.B.D. (?) plug was also on the same circuit as the aux power, (driver side)
After that my van will not shut off with my key....
I have now determined that the gps was tied into the obd jack and when removing the #38 fuse my van will shut off normally w/ key but my check engine light and thedt light illuminate on the dash and eill go away when puting the fuse back , but then it won't shut off???
Has anyone encountered this problem and how can I fix?
