Default No Crank No Nothing 99 Express 1500

Hey guys I bought this van about a month ago, been working on turning it into a camper van. There was an old power inverter that I removed and while removing the positive cable that goes back to the battery, it made contact with the metal floor. It arced and I grabbed it as soon as I could but it was too late. Now the van won't crank, start, no lights, no interior controls, nothing.

The starter relay has no voltage to it. I pulled it and tested the 4 terminals with the key in the on position, nothing. I can turn the key to the on position and bump the starter with a screw driver and it just cranks and cranks but will not run. All fuses in the cab and relays/fuses under the hood look good.

Someone please help I'm out of ideas! Thanks!

Can you scan the OBD for a code? Two things you could check would be the CPS(Crank Position Sensor),
and the TPS(Throttle position sensor).

Try swapping the fuel pump relay and the starter relay. They are the same.

Can you explain what you mean by fuse link? Or where it's located so I can troubleshoot it? As far as I can tell all fuses and relays are still good. Both inside the cab and under the hood. Thanks!

Look for a wide part in the battery plus cable, it is a fuseable link. I suspect that's what the issue is since you post you have no electrical to anything
