Ain't my finest "promotional material" -- but here's what I have right now...

There's some reviews of our Astro/Safari unit on YouTube, too.

Perfect. Thank you.
Does it work with the driver's seat too? (mine is a power seat).

No worries!!

Unfortunately, won't work on the driver side (that fuse box is huge) -- nor with electric seats on either side -- as there isn't space for the machinery.

RE: Driver side:
I'm trying to design around that fuse box -- but it's challenging without raising a seat a bit. The swivel plates work since they go on top of the seat base -- but raising the seat is not great.

To make it work with a power seat track you'd have to lower the rotation unit on a lower base section, about two inches or so. I found when I put a power track on my 2002 that the 97-up manual track is the same height off the base as the power one. In 95-back vans, the factory base is taller and conversion companies put their own base unit in to make room for a power seat track. Then your only limitation would be how much rotation the wiring harness would allow for.

Thanks for the info -- I could definitely do that -- would be nice to see how much slack exists in the power seat harness vs. the SRS/Airbag stuff.

I wanted to get the bottom up as high as possible -- as it's nice to be able to store stuff under the seat!!

There is a generous amount of slack. In fact I think there's a GM TSB out there due to the wiring harness getting smooshed in the track. The repair is additional cable management to tidy it up.
I can take some photos/measurements for you the next time I'm tinkering on it.

It is nice, for the passenger seat anyway.
This was my solution: https://chevroletforum.com/forum/exp...-drawer-91965/
(a potential product idea for you. Free of charge! )
I consider the driver seat a lost cause. With the fuse box and power stuff, there's not enough left to do anything with.

Turns out my swivel base works with electric seats, too.

Just putting it out there.

I mean I can bolt up a power track in a 95 and older, too, but then I can't get my legs under the steering wheel.

The Express vans it wouldn't make a difference, other than the wiring will restrict how much you can spin the seat around.

I ended up installing the Shop4Seats swivel in my 2000 Express in 2020. The quality seems good - it's a heavy unit. The ability to turn the passenger seat around when camping is great and was a hit with my family. What I don't like is that when the seat is unoccupied the base rattles. I have a low tolerance for rattles so the swivel is only installed when I expect to have company when camping. The IronCloudMetalWorks swivels look to be a high quality product and I'm curious if these are rattle-free when unoccupied.
