Default Wire loom for side door door jamb?

Anyone ever get a wire loom in here? What wire loom did you use and how did you get it mounted?

From the factory, the doors use a strike plate for the power locks. I got the strike plate from the junkyard, but my aftermarket power lock kit only works if the door is closed.

I also am hoping to add some more electrical widgets to the door, so if I could get a wire loom in there, that would be ideal.

With the door closed, there's about a pinky worth of room between the door and the door jamb

Side door.

I found something on amazon:
Amazon Amazon

Works OK, but sometimes gets hung up if you close the door too quickly.

The factory one only works when the door is closed, too.

If it we’re mine, I might make door side hole bigger, and get some kind of spring tension on it.
