04 Express Stabilitrak/ABS issue
04 express van, 300k kms, great shape considering its age/mileage.
Anyway, I've been getting a flutter through my feet at launch, the van also trips the TCS light occasionally on tight low speed corners or will come on and remain on until restart if it breaks traction on a bit of gravel/slush. This has previously required a rear tone ring cleanup.
I thought the flutter felt through my feet was torque convertor or something as it only seemed to occur from stationary start.. traffic lights, junctions etc, not rolling stops.
Anyway, van lit up like a tree today abs pulsing crazy, traction light on, essentially having to drive through active abs engagement.
I parked, pulled the ABS fuse and that flutter on launch has gone so hopefully not a tranny issue and must have been through the brake pedal and brake servo/modulator related
But, thoughts on where to start diagnosing the presumed abs fault?
I'd welcome any input
Thanks
