Default 1990 G20! Where do I get one?

I've been toying with the idea of getting a classic chevy and using it as a work van. I'm a carpenter and I'd love to get my hands on a 1990 G20 cargo van. My vision is a shinny black cargo with chrome details. Simple wheels a visor and respectable exhaust system. I'd like to build custom tool storage in the back. Where can I get my hands on one I'm done toying with this idea.

So how handy are ya?

i used Craigslist but don’t know what’s in your area.

I know you said black cargo and this is a white conversion. But imagine being able to stand up in there. It’s already got wiring you could tap an inverter to and use some electrical tools or lights. And a/c!

something like this would need a ton of work but could be cool too.

this is what you Want

Searchtempest.com. Will give you a radius search in areas you can drive to
I've seen lots of shelves and dividers in junkyards at cheap prices. Hell-even saw a van in Lubbock junked full of carpet cleaning equipment. Get the frp door panels if you get a chance too.
BTW,many of the vans in the local pull-an-pay have new engine parts when they have the TBI/ignition problems.

Exactly! Minus the wing in the back. What a great movie. I'm taking screen shots of that. I love the tear drop window too.

I also have a 74 Corvette that I restored and modified. I got a Chevy van because I am familiar with the platform and also love the idea of a “hotrod” van.

however, after working on my 95 to get it road ready, I can’t see myself hotrodding it. Maybe someday.

It’s an access issue. A cam and head swap would be a project. They make so many headers I’m sure you could find a set too.

I can’t imagine an engine swap or rebuild. Also the thought of pulling the dog house every time I need to tighten the headers, adjust the carb, swap jets or adjust the choke is just overwhelming.

I guess you could leave the dog house off until you get everything tuned.
